Guides by character type
Each type guide explains what the type is for, lists its characters by tier, shows which other characters name it in their rules text, and gives placement notes based on the formation rules.
- Animal: The largest type, built around cheap early bodies and Last Breath summons. 21 characters.
- Dragon: Fast, hard-hitting Flying attackers that pick off the back row. 5 characters.
- Dwarf: Small, cheap bodies that stack bonuses on each other and on Treasures. 11 characters.
- Mage: Spell-driven growth, plus the type with the most Support characters. 17 characters.
- Monster: Evil attackers that grow by slaying and share bonuses across the type. 17 characters.
- Royal: Quest-driven characters and payoffs for Upgraded Royals. 18 characters.
- Treant: Very high Health, Health-granting Supports and Attack that scales with Health. 13 characters.
