Fae, Egg and Puff Puff Guide
Fae, Egg and Puff Puff: three types with only a few shop members each.
What these types do
Three types are too small to fill a guide of their own, so this page covers them together. Fae has three shop characters, all in tiers 4 and 5, and Egg and Puff Puff have one each. None of them forms a board by itself, but each fills a specific job.
The Fae are the most useful of the three. Blessing Fae gives your other Good characters +2/+2. Arrow-Struck Sprite has Flying and Ranged and makes a character it damages attack one of its own allies. Whispering Faelings takes the Attack of your strongest Evil character and the Health of your healthiest Good character at the start of each brawl, which only works when your board has both alignments.
Cracked Noble is a tier 2 7/7 Egg, a strong early body with the drawback that it is destroyed permanently if it dies in combat. Cloud Drifter is the only Puff Puff and explains its own rule: Puff Puffs never triple, and its Last Breath gives all your Puff Puffs everywhere +1/+1 permanently. With one Puff Puff in the shop pool, the practical value of Cloud Drifter is as a 7/7 for 4 Gold.
The shop sells 5 characters of these types, across tiers 2 to 5. 0 have a Support ability, 1 starts with Flying and 0 start with Ranged. The tables below come straight from the game’s data.
these types by tier
Tier 2
| Character | Tier | Attack/Health | Alignment | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cracked Noble | 2 | 7/7 | Good | If I die in combat, I'm destroyed permanently. |
Tier 4
| Character | Tier | Attack/Health | Alignment | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blessing Fae (also Mage) | 4 | 4/4 | Good | Your other Good characters have +2/+2. |
| Cloud Drifter | 4 | 7/7 | Good | Puff Puffs never triple. Last Breath: give all your Puff Puffs everywhere +1/+1 permanently. |
Tier 5
| Character | Tier | Attack/Health | Alignment | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arrow-Struck Sprite | 5 | 1/10 | Evil | Flying, Ranged. When I attack and damage a character, it attacks one of its own allies. |
| Whispering Faelings | 5 | 1/1 | Neutral | At the start of each brawl, I have the Attack of your strongest Evil and the Health of your healthiest Good. |
What buffs these types
No other shop character mentions Eggs or Fae or Puff Puffs in its rules text, so these types are not buffed by name. Alignment buffs for Good and Evil characters still apply, and the character guide lists them.
Positioning
Slots 1 to 4 are the front row and slots 5 to 7 the back row; the rules guide explains how rows decide who gets attacked.
- Arrow-Struck Sprite has 10 Health and is Ranged, so it is comfortable in the front row.
- Blessing Fae helps your other Good characters wherever it stands, so it does not need a particular slot.
- Cracked Noble is lost for good if it dies, so keep it out of fights it cannot survive and treat it as a front-row anchor rather than a trade piece.
