Dwarf Guide
Small, cheap bodies that stack bonuses on each other and on Treasures.
What Dwarves do
Dwarves are an economy and stacking type. Tier 2 offers the core: Foreman Grum gives your other Dwarves +1/+1, Hoarder Nix gets +2/+2 for each Treasure you own, and Punchy pays 1 Gold when you lose a brawl. None of these is large on its own, but all of them get better as you collect Dwarves and Treasures.
The middle tiers add multipliers. Doubling Dov doubles bonuses to its own Attack and Health, and Anvil Fanna is a Dwarf Support that gives +4/+4. Coinhoard Dwarf pays a Gold whenever it survives damage, and Fourleaf Dwarf discounts a random character in your next shop when it dies. The top of the type is High Dwarf Lord, which at the start of each brawl gives every Dwarf in play +2/+2 for that brawl for each Dwarf you have in play.
That last effect scales with the number of Dwarves on the board, which is why the type wants as many members as you can fit. Grave-Kissed Princess is a Royal that raises Dwarves in your shop and has a Quest to buy 7 Dwarves.
The shop sells 11 characters of this type, across tiers 2 to 6. 1 has a Support ability, 1 starts with Flying and 1 starts with Ranged. The tables below come straight from the game’s data.

What buffs Dwarves
One character outside the type mentions Dwarves in their rules text:
| Character | Tier | Attack/Health | Alignment | Rules text |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grave-Kissed Princess (also Royal) | 3 | 3/5 | Evil | For the rest of the game, Dwarves in your shop have +1/+1. Quest: buy 7 Dwarves (counts earlier buys). Reward: Upgrade me. |
Positioning
Slots 1 to 4 are the front row and slots 5 to 7 the back row; the rules guide explains how rows decide who gets attacked.
- Anvil Fanna is a Support, so it works from the back row and only helps Dwarves standing in the front slots it covers (back slot 5 covers slots 1 and 2, slot 6 covers 2 and 3, slot 7 covers 3 and 4).
- Millie Quickshot is Ranged, so she attacks without taking counter-damage and can stand in the front row without being worn down by her own attacks.
- Twin Riddler has 10 Attack and 3 Health, so it is a front-row threat that leaves a swapped copy behind when it dies.
